How to remove artifact?

Post by AppleBag »

Hi

I'm trying out the program and am noticing an artifact when doing a morph. It is at the top of the morph, by the top of the head, it looks "boxy" or like there are shapes being shown that shouldn't be. How do I stop this from happening so that the morph looks smoother? I can send the project file if needed.

Also, a nice feature suggestion would be to add an option on animated gif exports to add the image delays to the anigif as well. For example, in my morph I make the first few frames stay longer, but when doing an anigif export, they don't get saved. The only option is to slow the speed of the morph down which isn't quite the same. I would have to open the anigif in a special anigif editing app, or photoshop to manually alter/add this to the morph, which is a bit inconvenient. :D

TIA

The "boxy" problem is caused by some wrong dots you placed. Just choose the View/Triangles menu, this will help you find out the reason. Learn more from http://www.fantamorph.com/newtourv310.htm.
If you can't fix it, you can simply send us the source project by choosing the File/Share Project menu, we'd like to do this for you.

In fact, you can easily make the first (or last) few frames stay longer, even for the exported animated gif files. Learn more from http://www.fantamorph.com/how_to_set_movie_length.htm. As you see, just set the number of frames for "Stay on Image 1" and/or "Stay on Image 2".
