Problem export several sequences

Post by mylambre »

Hello,

I'm managing to create a huge HD morphing (about 100 sequences).
When I try to export in avi more than 6 sequences I get stranges results like bad color, the picture of the video take a quarter of the window video (even with VLC/virtualdub,etc...).

And when I export (always in avi) just 5 sequences I have to rebuild the index of the file with virtualdub before to import in the magix video/pinnacle.

I have a windows seven machine 64b + 3 Go DDR / windows vista 32bit + 4 Go DDR (problem occures on both machines).

Thanks to help

best regards to the creators of this great soft!!!

To export such a huge morph, you must choose compressed AVI or QuickTime format.
Learn how to export compressed AVI at http://www.fantamorph.com/how_to_export ... d_avi.html.

Also, it is strongly recommended to update your display driver. Please don't use the Windows Update, you should update your display driver manually.
Please check your display card type first. If you are using a NVIDIA card, please download the latest driver from NVIDIA site at http://www.nvidia.com, install it, restart Windows, and then try FantaMorph again. If you are using other cards, please download the latest driver from its manufacturer's site.

If you have further questions, please let us know.

Hello,

Well I just changing the computer. Now I've a dell presision with a quadro 3000m. intel7 vpro (4 cores). Windows 7 pro 64b.
Hard drive ntfs.

I've installed this driver : 295.73-notebook-win7-winvista-64bit-international-whql
And I got always the same problem.

The movie I export must be in HD 1920 x 1080 @ 30ipfs cause it's for the FIFA. The canadian's competition for film of Art. After I'll import all the video in magix video pro x4 for adding music and voices.

Best Regards.

If you can't find a desktop, please uninstall the current version from your notebook, download the test version from the link below, reinstall and make a tryout.
http://www.fantamorph.com/download/v5/t ... hSetup.exe
Hope it works for you, because the new export engine applied to the test version should have better compatibilities.
Good luck!

If it still doesn't work, please send us your source project, we'll find out.

Hello,
I've export the video parts after parts in the limit of 3Gb. Between 3 and 4 Gb that was strange. And beyond 4Gb I got nothing. After exporting all the videos in 3Gb I use virtualdub to re-index the file and that was fine after that to import in montage software.

I've noticed it's a problem of size file. But I don't know why upper 4Gb it's unexploitable. The Fat is NTFS. Systeme is 64b.

Yes even with the new version.
Regards

Did you export as uncompressed AVI? Please don't export such a big project as uncompressed AVI. It is strongly recommended to export as compressed AVI. Learn How to Export Compressed AVI.

Yes I export in uncompress 'hufyuv' because I need the best quality possible for a HD movie. After I compress with magix or premiere.

Do you think I can keep the maximum quality with a specific codec And recompress after with an authoring software?

Have you got this sorted out at all mylambre? Reason I ask is I also keep having the same problem. I only have 10 sequences of 1920x1080 because the video needs to be part of a full HD project. Exporting in avi but not succeeding, system crashes or hangs without any resulting avi file. The included sample files export okay, so it must be the sequence I have. To be sure, I've kept everything checked at default settings during export.

Deadline is looming soon and I have to get this morph sequence into my video project. Glad for any assistance.

I'm on a Mac (tower) version, 20 GB RAM, 2x3 Ghz Quad Core processor running 10.6.8. Graphics card is ATI Radeon HD 5770.

Thanks.

On Mac, I do suggest that you export as QuickTime format instead of AVI.

Thanks for the tip. That means, I'd have to upgrade to the deluxe version then from the pro I am currently running, right?

No, you don't have to upgrade to Deluxe because QuickTime is the default export format for all Mac versions including SE and Pro.

Thank you again for that tip.
It did work somewhat. But the software now seems to have a limit of 5 sequences at 1920x1080p. I've managed to export successfully to QuickTime if I choose sequences 1-5 only; more than that, i.e. 7 or 10 sequences and the software crashes. Happens even if I turn off acceleration. Is there any work around? Or do I have to limit all 1080p projects to only 5 sequences and join them in Final Cut? Appreciate the help.

I have tried a project of 10 sequences with total 600 frames and I can export it to a 1920x1080 QuickTime movie without any problem.
Can you please send us your source project to support@fantamorph.com? We'll find out.
