.fmd file problem

Hi,
I tried to export and import key dots using .fmd file. The .fmd file is exported and then saved but there is no expected result after importing - there are no dots on the screen. I searched on the Internet and I haven't found any suggestion what I do wrong that I have this result. To be honest there is almost no information how to use .fmd files in the projects.
Could someone help me with resolving this problem? I am testing Deluxe version of FantaMorph.
