Re: Editable Preview Screen? (POLL)
Going to lobby one more time for this one (hands and knees begging): The Preview Only (F7) screen is a nice full resolution preview, with no zooming required. When both dots and trails are visible, the animation slider shows dots moving from the anchor positions on Image 1 to a corresponding anchor ...

New 5.1 Update EXCELLENT!
Just wanted to rave, and didn't know where else to put it, thanking/praising you for the recent 5.1 update. The Win7 update function notified me and worked flawlessly. LOVE the keyboard shortcuts for transforming, thank you! The Export movie rendering engine is now around three times faster than it ...

Re: update to 5.05 fails
I downloaded the 5.05 update (separately), not a five part download through the updater, which I didn't use. I just downloaded the single setup program and reinstalled over the existing installation (with FantaMorph closed and without uninstalling 5.01), and reinput my reg key afterward. My option s...

Editable Preview Screen? (POLL)
Following was in another thread I started, but the more I think about it the more I want it, and think it deserves its own space, along with a poll. My suggestion, with reasons: I think the "Morph To" and "Preview" screens should be one and the same, if possible. Intuitively speaking, I can't count ...

Re: Simplified Click Controls
I'll keep a running list here of things I'd like to see, in order of personal preference. DOT AND GROUP SELECTION: Reset dots/groups of dots: CTRL-CLICK or CTRL-ALT-CLICK (resets clicked dots or 'line connected' dot groups to their base positions on the "Morph To" screen) "Paste-and-Place" WITH rela...

Re: Manual control of triangles?
So relieved to hear that, thank you! Even if you had a beta feature check box option with a warning that stated "FOR EXTREMELY ADVANCED USERS ONLY -- USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!", that would be very cool. You would have beta testers (like me) giving feedback while putting it through its paces, with no com...

Re: Run-time error '91':
Didn't even notice that an update was out! My "About" screen also said 5.01, but checking for updates reported that I was running the latest version. I downloaded and reinstalled smoothly, no more error 91, thank you!

Manual control of triangles?
What I would like to see is simple (for me to visualize, at least, I don't know about implementation): We already have the ability to delete a "grouping" line between dots. I would like that same ability with the actual triangles: to delete, move, create, reassign or otherwise manually edit morphing...

Re: Run-time error '91':
For those wanting a workaround until a fix is submitted, you can use the dragging slide bars all you want, with no failures. Just avoid touching the paging arrows on either side of the slide bars. That is the only function that can cause a crash.

Image 2 dot trails (my number one suggestion)
I would love it if the corresponding "anchor" dot on image 2 NEVER MOVED from its anchor position. Whenever you drag a dot to a new position in Image 2, the "green anchor" dot remains frozen, and a new rubber-band line appears, leading from the anchor dot to a moving destination dot of a different c...

Sequencing from the previous image result?
So sorry if this is simple and should be obvious to anyone. I have an single image that I want to morph in a series of sequences. I want the "next" sequence to begin "fresh" (no dots) using the end result, or final frame, of the previous sequence. I know I can export the end frame of a sequence and ...

Re: Run-time error '91':
Found it. I worked error free for a long, long time, and just got it to crash. Hitting the right hand scroll bar in the Image 2 window did it. I had the dot selector selected and was moving dots in the Image 2 window (warp single image mode). The spot I wanted to move the dot to was just down and ou...

Max limit for number of dots? [SOLVED - it's 2,044]
I have a rather large project with 2,044 dots (thus far -- it could easily be ten times this amount before I'm finished). FM Deluxe 5 won't let me add a 2,045th dot anywhere. If I delete one dot, I can add another somewhere else, but no matter what I try, I can't exceed 2,044 dots. Is this a bug or ...

Run-time error '91':
Getting quite a few of these errors with the latest version (Deluxe): Run-time error '91': Object variable or With block variable not set I can't remember what I'm doing before each crash, but I think it's consistent. It may be in the middle of adding, subtracting, lasso selecting or moving dots, or...

Pencil drawing/autodots and Doubling Dots
Sorry, I know talk is cheap and implementation costs, but I can't resist. Take or leave at will! SUGGESTION #1: Dot Group Pencil Drawing I would love to have a pencil dot drawing selector, so that could just "draw" a complex line or curve, and have dots appear on that line as I draw, all evenly spac...
